25th Sunday of Ordinary Time (2014)

The following is a commentary of the Gospel of the laborers in the Vineyard by my Homiletics instructor, Fr. Alfred McBride.

“Holy Spirit, we need the insight of the parable of the Grape Pickers, because we tend to be petty in our relationships with one another. Too often, we are childishly jealous when we should be maturely generous. Expand our hearts with love that we may take in the newcomers to the kingdom with a huge welcome. Teach us how to love as you do. Never let us seek happiness at the expense of other’s misery. Amen”
