Holy Thursday (2015)

In ancient tradition, Holy Thursday was referred to as “Maundy Thursday” from the Latin word “mandatum” which means “commandment.” Jesus washes the feet of His disciples at the Last Supper. He gives them, and us, a new commandment: “Just as I have loved you, you also must love one another.” That is a total love “even unto death.” Jesus set us an example; he pulled no punches. “Jesus, help us to follow Your way of love and service.”
