May 16, 2015 (Acts 18:23-28)

“They took [Apollos] aside and explained to him the Way of God more accurately.” We never stop learning. That’s particularly the case when it comes to our faith. We need constant catechesis in the faith. It is amazing that even those who go through Catholic grade school, high school and university can be “bowled over” when attending classes on the faith. A usual response goes something like, “I didn’t know we believed that!” Insights are gained all the time. We can never say that we “know everything” because we don’t. We should all be given a “Learner’s Permit” not a “Graduation Certificate” when it comes to our faith. (Me included) Lord, keep our eyes and ears open as You reveal Yourself to us.
