June 1, 2016 (St. Justin Martyr)

Justin was a world-class philosopher who tried various belief systems and came to the conclusion that Christianity was the true one. he took the name,” Martyr,” which meant in Greek, “Witness.” He was a witness to the faith and gave his life for it. Thus, today, we call all witnesses to the faith that give their lives, “Martyrs.”
