Nov. 15, 2016 (Rev. 3:1-6, 14-22)

“I know your works; I know that you are neither cold nor hot.” The letter to the Church of Laodicea reprimands them for lukewarm living out of their Christianity. Laodicea was a rich city known for their colorful tunics. Their spiritual condition was not up to their material wealth. They didn’t see the shortcoming in all this. So, the letter reminds them to be aware of their spiritual shortcomings. Sometimes, we need a nudge to let us know that we’re not doing as well as we should!
