Friday of the Octave of Easter (2018)

(John 21:1-14) “I am going fishing.” Peter tells his companions and goes back to his job as a fisherman. They catch nothing. Someone on the shore tells them to put nets out again and they make a big haul of fish. It is, of course, Jesus whom they see on the shore. Do we “see” Jesus in the ordinary things we do everyday like our jobs?
