For the Souls in Purgatory

“O gentle Heart of Jesus, ever-present in the Blessed Sacrament, ever consumed with burning love for the poor captive souls in Purgatory, have mercy on them. Be not severe in Your judgments, but let some drops of Your Precious Blood fall upon the devouring flames. And merciful Savior, send Your angels to conduct them to a place of refreshment, light, and peace. Amen.”

Never Found To Fail

“O most beautiful flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, blessed Mother of the Son of God, Immaculate Virgin, assist me in this my necessity. O Star of the Sea, help me, and show me herein you are my Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and Earth, I humbly beseech thee from the bottom of my heart, to succor me in this necessity; there are none that can withstand your power. O, show me herein you are my mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. (3 times)

Sweet Mother, I place this cause in your hands.” (3 times)

Prayer for a Strong Faith

“Happy, blissful St. Joseph, heir of the faith of all the patriarchs, obtain for me this beautiful and precious virtue. Increase in me a lively faith, the foundation of all sanctity, that faith without which no one can be pleasing to God. Obtain for me that faith which triumphs over all temptations of the world and conquers human respect, which can be shaken by nothing and is directed solely towards God. Cause me after your example to live by faith, to subject my heart and understanding to God, that I may behold in heaven what I now firmly believe on earth. Amen.”

For Grown Children

“O Lord, my children have grown and gone into the world, and yet they remain always in my thoughts, my heart, my prayers. Once I could take them on my knee, tell them of life, guide their steps. This time is no longer, at least not as it was. I worked at seed-time, and now the harvest must be entrusted to Your provident Hand. Hold them close to You, O Lord, and to Your Church. In time of weakness or sin, lead them ever back to You. May they be shining witnesses to You in this world so full of need. O heavenly Father, hear this earthly parent’s prayer. Amen.”

To My Patron Saint

“O heavenly patron, whose name I have the honor to bear, pray earnestly at all times to God for me; confirm me in the Faith, strengthen me in virtue, defend me in the battle of life, so that conquering the enemy of my soul, I may deserve to be rewarded with everlasting glory. Amen.”

For Relatives Who Have Not the Faith

“Merciful Lord, who prayed that there be one flock and one shepherd, I ask the light of faith for those who are related to me and do not know You in Your Eucharistic presence. Give them the joy of Your protecting presence. Bring them into the one fold of which You are the master and Lord. Forgive them their sins, and teach them the way of repentance. In the end bring them into the larger circle of Your family, to God our Father, to Mary our Mother, and to You our beloved Brother. Amen.””

Prayer for Grace for our Country

“Dear Father united to Jesus in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Sacrifice of Calvary sacramentally made present, celebrated around the world, in the Holy Spirit. We offer up all we do united in the Mass. We unite in one mind and heart as members of the mystical body of Christ, with Christ our Head in the pure and holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary, through the powerful intercession of Mary with all the angels and saints and souls in purgatory, and we beg for the saving grace, for our country, the United States. Please help us. We further pray for unity to always do the will of God in love. We spread the Blood of Jesus on the leaders and people of the United States and cast the devil into hell. We consecrate our country to the Sacred Heart and Immaculate Heart and all our dioceses, and beg for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. God help us. We pray for our families, the priests, the Church and the world. In the name of Jesus please hear us, we pray. We pray for our president. We pray that we are united as one nation under God to work together in love as God wants. Amen.”
